“This next one isn’t a memory from a
past Guardian,” Ceta tells Legacy, “But one that Green Delta added to my
archives. I feel it shows the end of the battle better than Junit’s memories
given the fact he played a greater role in it than she did.”
“It should be
interesting to watch then,” replies Legacy.

As the Fayyick
Emperor, a blue skin humanoid with purple hair wearing black robes, takes aim
at the fallen Junit, Green Delta opens fire from the doorway of the throne room
with both of his wrist-mounted gatling guns.
I got back from my mission early just to find that my
love had gone to attack on one of the dangerous people in the galaxy without
me. Fortunately I still had that old teleportation cell that Reuben gave me
still lying around.
The Fayyick
Emperor throws up a telekinetic shield to protect himself and Green Delta charges
forward with a blue-bladed energy sabre in each hand.
As the Fayyick
Emperor takes aim at him, a crude, ugly android made of mismatching parts takes
aim with the Antorian energy blaster it has for its right hand. Fayyick Emperor
is forced to dodge the pink bolts as Green Delta closes the distance between
them.
Good old GD-G2. Built him out of scrap and gifts over
two and half centuries ago and he is a competent and loyal teammate. I can
count on him to get Junit to safety.
Green Delta
slashes at the Emperor with both energy sabres, but his foe blocks with his own
red-bladed one. The Fayyick Emperor blasts Green Delta with a telekinetic
strike.
He staggers, but flies forward using the
thrusters built into the back of his armour as the Emperor charges him.
Catching his opponent off guard, Green Delta both dodges his enemy’s strike and
nicks the Emperor’s arm with one of his own.
Green Delta
spins around to face the Fayyick Emperor as he passes his foe, but the Emperor
leaps backwards into the air.
As Green Delta
hears footsteps in the doorway, both he and the Fayyick Emperor turn in its
direction.
Green Alpha and
Green Bravo are running down it, ready to aid their fellow member of Green
Team.
While Green
Charlie, Echo and Gamma are all dead, Green Alpha and Green Bravo had their
minds uploaded into their armours and then had their armours turned into robots.
A feature only available to members of their team who still have intact armour,
something that the other three fallen teammates didn’t have when they died.
While his
brother and sister might not be flesh and blood anymore, Green Delta is still
glad to have them around, especially since he believed them dead when he joined
the Alliance.
The Fayyick
Emperor acts quickly by slamming Green Alpha into the wall with telekinetic
force whilst shooting at Green Bravo with his stolen gun. Green Delta also
moves quickly, rushing the Fayyick Emperor.
The Emperor only
gets off one shot before Green Delta hacks his gun hand off with an energy
sabre. The shot hits Green Bravo’s sniper rifle and she tosses the broken
weapon aside as she runs forward to aid Green Delta.
The Fayyick
Emperor swings his energy sabre at Green Delta, who steps back to avoid it.
Green Bravo reaches the fight and forces the Emperor back as he is forced to
contend with two dangerous opponents. The two soldiers circle him as Delta
tosses Bravo one of his energy sabres.
Realising the
odds aren’t in his favour, the Fayyick Emperor rips up the floor around Green
Delta and Green Bravo with his telekinesis, staggering both of them as they
regain their footing.
Green Delta
looks up to see the Fayyick Emperor cutting off Bravo’s arm.
“No!” cries
Green Delta as he swings his armoured fist into the Fayyick Emperor’s head as
he hacks Bravo in two.
Green Delta
grabs Bravo’s upper half and tosses it as far away as he can.
“Behind you!”
yells Green Alpha and Green Delta rolls forward.
He gets to his
feet as the energy sabre of the Emperor swishes through the space he previous
occupied.
Frustrated, the
Fayyick Emperor using his telekinesis to collapse the ceiling and walls around
Green Alpha in on him.
“You will not
take my family from me!” shouts Green Delta as he opens fire at the Emperor
with his gatling guns.
The Fayyick
Emperor throws up a telekinetic shield and tosses both wrecked doors from the
doorway at Green Delta. He sidesteps one and cuts the other in half with his
energy sabre.
Green Delta
turns to see a red energy blade coming straight at his head. He leans back to avoid
it and the blade skims his visor. The Emperor swings the blade back around to
take Green Delta out, but a sniper bullet shots it out of his head.
Both Green Delta
and the Fayyick Emperor turn to face the origin of the shot. Green Alpha is
trapped under rumble with his only one arm free, but is wielding Green Bravo’s
damaged and scopeless sniper rifle.
With a roar of
anger, the Fayyick Emperor yanks Green Alpha’s head off with telekinesis.
“We’re not done
yet!” roars Green Delta as he slams his fist into the Emperor’s fist.
The Fayyick
Emperor stumbles backwards, his face bloodied and broken as Green Delta swings
his energy sabre at him. But his foe rips the blade from his hand with
telekinesis into his own hand.
Green Delta
jumps backwards as the Emperor wildly slashes at him. The strike slices one of
his wrist-mounted gatling guns into half.
“Commander!” yells
GD-G2 as he tosses Green Delta the Linx Sword gifted to him from Del Reuben
Onta, the greatest of the New Knights of Deltae.
Green Delta catches
Gerdela out of midair and blocks the blue blade of the stolen energy sabre. He
follows it up with an attack of his own, cutting the left arm of the Fayyick
Emperor off.
Howling in pain,
the Fayyick Emperor makes one last feeble attack at Green Delta, but it only
grazes his chest armour plate. Green Delta casually cuts off the Emperor’s
remaining hand before firing his last gatling gun at his foe.
But with one
last defiant action as life leaves his body, the Fayyick Emperor lashes out
with his telekinesis, crushing Green Delta’s body and power armour.
Okay, so I don't I said we would get more of Legacy's past in this segment, but I felt the fight scene was lacking and some basic background details missing. So I added more to it and by that point, it was large enough that I moved the bits out Legacy into the next segment.
ReplyDeleteSo this segment is mainly just a fight scene I enjoyed writing. Due to that, the next Legacy segment will be tomorrow rather Wednesday.
So next time, we actually do find out more about Legacy's past.
